Who reads anymore? Books are one of those things where you put them on a bookshelf where they sit and look pretty. Therefore these books are some of the best ones to set out because they’re darn pretty to look at. Use them to accessorize, stage shots, or just pretend that you’ve got good taste.

Or maybe you want to start a collection of turn of the century hardcover books. In that case, these are darn cheap for the money: one’s worth about 30, one’s worth close to 80. I’m not telling you which ones though. All have solid bindings, and all are sans dust jacket, as issued. I’ve learned my lesson about buying books without dust jackets. (namely, don’t)

The books are:
The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne. Donahue Bros, 1937.
Master of the vineyard, Myrtle Reed. Grosset and Dunlap, 1910.
Swinburne’s Poetical Works. TY Cromwell & co., 1884.
The Waverly Novels: Fair Maid of Perth/Chronicles of the Canongate. Porter & Coates, ca. 1894.
Gill’s Imperial Geography. George Gill & Sons, London. 1901
Fables in Slang, George Ade. Grosset and Dunlap, 1899

$12.50 each, 2 for $25 or all six for $60

My current job is unpaid for now so selling stuff is what lets me buy food and stay in my apartment. No reasonable offer refused.
