this bookshelf is definitely from the 40s-50s, possibly part of a built-in at one point in time…has original paint + patina of a black exterior and canary interior (note: underside of shelves are bare wood, unpainted)….three ample shelves for books, treasures, pots + pans, china, etc, and a highly distressed patina from years of wear lend this piece a certain charm. Please be aware there is some water damage (dried) to the back bottom part of the unit which is not visible from the front or side, but is visible on the back.
