Giovanna Modonutti’s passionate approach to design – a synthesis of her mother’s experience with designing chairs and her father’s career in leather manufacturing – is evident in this rigorously produced collection. On each piece, the durable, stain-resistant leather is expertly tailored and hand stitched to fit the frame. The contours of the sturdy steel frame are just visible, lending definition to the slim legs and backrest. The seat is lightly padded for comfort, and the full sling backrest conforms to the body and provides the perfect amount of support. The stools feature chromed steel crossbars that add to their unyielding stability and double as footrests. Clear plastic guides protect floors. Made in Italy.
