German Cuckoo Clock, purchased near Augsburg, Germany in 1981. Beautifully detailed animals, dancing figures, and cuckoo bird that pops out of a little door. Three pine cone weights. Perfect condition- no broken clock hands or deer antlers. Music and “cuckoo” sound great. Easy to hang and maintain accurate time. Approximately 20" tall, 12" wide, and 6" deep.

The original price tag is still on the clock: 7498.99. If you can convert that to 1981 German marks, I’m proud. Converted to Euros, it’s $9,798.00. Recently saw a similar “vintage” clock on eBay for $1,200, and the closest clock to this size (and it was only about half this size) and detail at the Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza was $950. Excellent collector item!
