This amazing piece of factory salvage is incredible, well-made and very beautiful. It features a ceramic bulb socket, a ballast of what appears to be powder-coated cast iron and a thick glass shade in a waffle weave pattern.
It’s in terrific shape for what it is….the only flaw I note is an eensy fleabite on the exterior of the shade that measures about a quarter of an inch long. It’s on a raised ridge in the design and isn’t terribly noticeable. The wiring seems to be in excellent condition, but I’m no expert and haven’t tested it. Personally, I think it’d look cool with a bright (red? red!) woven-style cord, but you don’t have to change a thing if you don’t want to because this thing is terrifically cool as-is.
The shade measures 8" high and 12 1/2" across at its widest point. The glass itself is roughly half an inch thick.
I have more pictures if you need to see them. Just message me with your e-mail address and I’ll send them along!
