This is a very handsome chair that I have to say goodbye to for space reasons.
This is faux Eames, of course, but made to the exact specs of the real Eames lounge chairs. Many of the fakes don’t follow the dimensions/details of the original; if that’s important to you, this may be for you.
I bought this white leather faux-Eames lounge chair new online a couple of years ago and rarely sit in it, so the leather hasn’t softened and wrinkled yet like those that have been well-used. There is one weird thing I just noticed while moving it a few inches the other day: there’s a loose screw/bolt on the back of the chair. I’m sure it’s easily fixed but I include in the interest of disclosure.
The price also includes a white sheepskin throw I bought two years ago from Design Within Reach (the small, appx 2×3′). It’s been more decorative than sat upon, so it’s very fluffy. The white fur tends to get a bit yellow from exposure to sun, which you’ll see in this throw. It’s still winter white but not the snow white it was when new.
If you aren’t interested in the throw, we can discuss a lower price for the chair/footstool. I think they look so good as a unit it made sense to send them off that way, but I’m flexible.
