A beautiful G.H. Gunlocke Chair from the 1920’s. This chair, and other G.H. Gunlocke chairs, were some of the first mass produced office chairs in the United States. It appears to be made of walnut and is still as solid as the day it left the factory. The back is the original leather and horsehair. Along with a gorgeous patina, this chair is a distinct piece of early 20th century craftsmanship. Pick-up is available in Brooklyn and Rhinebeck.
