This tansu or step style osb furniture bookshelf is made of an eco friendly plywood substitute called oriented strand board. It is made from sustainable forests, uses younger trees than plywood, and uses more of the tree than traditional sheet goods.

But most importantly, each 2×2ft cube only weighs 20 pounds. And it has a great warm, organic wood chip look. It is undeniably wood, but doesn’t look like wood grain.

This piece is made up of 6 bookshelf cubes with 3 sets of feet included. Each cube measures 2’ by 2’ by 11.75" deep. The entire piece is 6’ 4" tall by 6’ wide by 11.75" deep. Yo,u may configure the 6 cubes in the step, the 2×3 tall or even a 3×2 low boy.
