Fab 1950s original vintage Cool-Ray Polaroid sunglasses. The cat’s meow! More unusual frame with three layers — black on top, white beneath, and brown on back. The black layer is incised to show the white beneath. May even be bakelite. Marked “Cool-Ray Polaroid 183” on the arm.

Arms have a distinct curve to them to wrap around your head. Would fit best on a smaller head. The arms have a very strong downward slant, too, so the glasses don’t sit exactly parallel to the eye but rather with the top tilted away from the face. (See 4th photo, bottom half.)

Very good vintage condition. No correction to the lenses. No major scratches or damage.
