This was my family’s childrens wardrobe in the 1940s and I have since converted it to a media center, but it is incredibly versatile and solid wood. It is painted a warm putty color with some minor wear. The brass hardware is original and gorgeous.
The interior drawers slide out and are also solid, not veneer. I have jury rigged one shelf in the interior wardrobe space (pictured), and drilled a hole for media wire, great for a stereo system but could easily be modified for a number of uses, and vertical space usage is much appreciated for apt dwellers. Will lend early mid century charm to any home.
