This iconic design – penned in 1998 by Giampaolo Benedini- has spawned many copies and spin-offs, but in my humble opinion the original design still is closer to perfection. Made from synthetic stone (see below), it’s got this wonderful bone color to it, and is a piece of sculpture.
Originally (and still sold for) over $11k, I will accept reasonable offers for less than half of that.
Condition: excellent. Subtle signs of wear can be rubbed out to be like new.
The inclined hollow of the Spoon bathtub allows the perfect distribution of water and great ergonomic comfort. Heat retention is maximised by the use of Exmar (a composite material, made from resin and quartz powder). The tub is completed by column mounted tap controls, complete with hand-held shower head, or by a simple floor standing tap. Spoon is designed to be placed in the centre of the bathroom, but looks equally good next to the wall.
Pictures are stock photos, but is exactly the same. Does not include tub filler.
