This whimsical birdhouse is a department 56 reproduction of a Christopher Blake birdhouse. It is made of plastic Resin and is finished with a vintage paint look. It can be used outdoors as an actual birdhouse or inside as a decorative object. The tail opens on a hinge to allow access to the inside. It is in great condition and has never been used outside. I’ve had it on a shelf since it was given to me as a gift about 10 years ago. There is a spot the size of a pinhead under one of the front paws where the paint has worn. I have the original tag.
