4 1950’s Paul McCobb style Vintage bentwood and wrought iron chairs and tripod base table. All together now!
The chairs and table were most likely designed by Clifford Pascoe for Modernmasters in the early 50’s, shortly after McCobb released his planner group chair #1535.
They are minimal, light and airy while still sculptural.
The chairs are constructed of welded wrought iron and bent plywood.
The table has the traditional iron tripod base and a 36" diameter top.
These chairs usually come up singly or maybe a pair but an original suite of four chairs along with the table is rare outside the retail and dealer market.
Because this is an original grouping they do not require refinishing to match each other.

The first owners put the metal gliders on the chairs and table, and I left them, but they are easily replaced with the more traditional black rubber leg tips.
