The junghans mark, a clock cogwheel fashioned into an 8 point star, is stamped on the inside panel covering the clocks other mechanisms with” w248 / made in germany/ 11” engraved below the mark.

The brass weights, tapered hands, number 12, and 5 minute marks are all still beautiful and would gleam with the right polish and a light touch.

Even without restoration or repair, this clock is a work of art and would be a stunning and valuable piece to hang on the wall.

The chimes, when just lightly touched, sound magnificent. All other parts are supposedly intact.
