These mica lamps give off a lovely soft glow with a bit of an an uplight effect, as the top is open. They take 60 watt bulbs. They have two settings, though I don’t know what the lower setting is. The photo makes the light seem harsher than it actually is — it’s very gentle. They are almost 16" high and almost 7" across the main part of the lamp, a little broader at the base because of the feet. The switch is on the cord.
