Set of 4 chairs designed by Arne Vodder in 1956, and produced by France & Daverkosen, one of Denmark´s top manufacturers. Each chair is stamped and numbered, with logo medallion on back of chair. Frame is solid teak wood, with cane backs and leather seats. The caned back is fitted to the chair with brass hardware so that backrests adjust automatically to the angle of your body. Very comfortable and chic. There is some distress on cane panels, as well as signs of general wear. Backrest on 1 chair is bolted to frame and does not pivot.
