What a handsome McDowell & Craig steel tanker chair we have here! These tanker chairs are really that… tanks. They’re incredibly sturdy and a tad on the heavy side, but will glide across your hardwood flooring like a breeze.

The original black vinyl was torn and cracked and the grey paint was rusting in spots. Both chairs have now been updated with 100% grey wool felt upholstery, baby blue cotton welt, and a vintage fabric backing in blue and black plaid. With a high gloss black painted frame and bare steel wheel caps, these chairs are ready to rock.

Each chair has a 4-star base with free moving casters. The seat is height adjustable and tilts, with an adjustment (located below the seat) to tighten the tilt or lock it completely. Please contact us if extra dimensions are needed.
There are two identical chairs available. If you wish to purchase both a discount can be applied.
