This is a handmade side table built in the 1950’s. We found this item at an estate sale. The top was made of marble, and was quite unappealing. So, we decided to add a unique top to the table ourselves. We hand cut solid oak planks to fit in the space left after removing the marble top. We hand painted each plank and scuffed the pieces to add that wonderful country look.
The table has original beveled glass on three sides. It also has a decorative vintage lock-set and hinges that indicate the item’s age. It would be a great addition to any hallway or entryway. It could be used to display keepsakes or simply as a great side table to any chair or sofa.
The dimensions of the piece are 23” long by 14 ¼” wide by 29” high.
