Made by Knoll this chair is an iconic piece of midcentury design. As an alternative to the other tufted button executive chair, this chair has stood the test of time- earning it’s place in the Louvre. The blue italian spinneybeck leather is in great condition, but by no means perfect, one lower buttons is missing. The leather shows its wear, making it all the more comfortable to a new user. Chair has early model 4 leg base.
A bit of history This specific chair comes directly from the IBM building in Chicago (330 N. Wabash), designed by Mies Van Der Rohe himself. It’s original condition has been maintained safely in storage for the past half century since its life at IBM.
