The drill, a Millers Falls One Horsepower 3/4 inch chuck hand drill manufactured in the mid fifties was built to last and built to make really big holes in things. The solid cast aluminum body could take abuse and keep on going. This thing is older than your dad and still works as well as the day it was made. Compare that to the Chinese plastic piece of junk you have under your sink. The drill has been mounted on a square of old flooring from a machine shop. Hung from a 5/8 chunk of allthread and machine bolts, with heavy duty wire and lit from below with a picture lamp of the same era, this piece will look amazing on the wall of a loft space or a bar where they don’t serve mojitos. Materials: drill, ash flooring, allthread, rebar wire. Warning: this thing is heavy. If you don’d know how to find a stud in your wall or put a bolt into concrete or brick you probably shouldn’t buy this.
