Holiday dessert plates with opalescent luster glaze from Czecho-Slovakia (the label has a dash between the words), circa 1920s/30s. The hand painted luster glaze is very subtle and chic, and the plates have varying hues of blue throughout the panels of color on the face. Perfect holiday service for 4 or 5. All are in good to fair vintage condition consistent with age—a tiny chip on the rim on a few, some wear on the faces (let’s call it patina), and 2 short hairline cracks on two of them that are not major (and will likely not continue hair lining). It’s a great little vintage set with a modern shabby chic vibe—with emphasis on modern. Each is 7-1/2" in diameter.
