1950s mid century modern walnut ice bucket by Vermillion, Springfield, Missouri. Perfect for the holidays, and large enough for a bag of ice, not the wimpy little ice bucket you always seem to find—empty—at crowded parties filled with thirsty party guests. Vermillion made good quality solid walnut pieces in the 50s and 60s, and this bucket is a good example of the heft and solid craftsmanship they became known for. The liner is plastic and is in excellent condition with some minor wear, but no breaks or cracks. The handle has some scratches (see pics) and the outside of the bucket has a few dings but nothing glaring. A cleaning with a Danish oil or lemon oil would make these disappear, no doubt. This is a great ice bucket that will last a lifetime.
