Excellent summer party glassware for your Hamptons or Woodstock house. What they are: 1960s or 70s George Briard highball glasses with painterly black textured stripes. Cool, dark, modern, and unusual, not like the peppy gilded Briard stuff you see around in vintage shops. Briard was a major design force in the 50s and 60s, and his stuff was sold at Bonwit Teller in a specialty department there.

This is a set of 10 in very good gently used vintage condition, without cracks or chips. See the Briard logo at the base of each glass. Perfect for the summer, a wedding gift (just saying), or for a Briard collector (you know who you are).
