Industrial chic style fits perfectly into a warehouse loft apartment! This amazing (heavy) metal table base has a shabby chic/industrial look.
Originally built in the early 1900’s, it weighs roughly 70lbs (without the glass top). It was painted with a heavy thick green paint. There are
still traces of green paint in the deeper grooves & texture of the legs ~ definitely adds character to this very ornate metal piece!
After stripping the old paint with a soda blaster, I wire brushed and polished the table base with steel wool & fine grit sandpaper – then clear
coated with automotive acrylic enamel so it will stay beautiful for many years.
~ Top ring support has black rubber padding added to hold glass in place & avoid scratching
~ Clear coated with enamel to protect the finish and keep it beautiful for many years.
~ Glass top is in great condition. Measures 42" diameter & is 3/8" thick
~ Base has newer brass end cap type nuts holding the legs onto center spindle.
