This gorgeous vintage mid century modern cabinet is made of solid wood with Scandinavian styling. There are 6 dovetailed drawers with breakfront and wood underpull handles. It is an oak cabinet with walnut veneers on sculpted legs with a woodgrain laminate top. It has recently had a poor paint job removed to reveal its original Medium/Light Walnut finish. This is a very good quality piece. There are some specks of white paint where I wasn’t able to get it out of the deeper scratches.

It was originally made by Johnson Carper, a fine furniture company. Its dove-tailed drawers are solid wood in the inside, they have a very nice design on the edge and they are working properly. The condition of this fabulous dresser is secure and sturdy with minor imperfections here and there proper to its age and as part of its wear and tear. Please remember that antique items will show some wear and imperfections they have acquired through the years. This adds to their charm and character and authenticates the history of the pieces making them more desirable and collectible.
