Solid Maple Hutch by Willet, Lancaster County line
Original hardware and finish, but the finish has NOT been well cared
for (many rings, scratches and blemishes). Still, a charming piece of
mid-century Americana, circa late 50’s/early 60’s.

Overall outside dimensions, including trim: 51" wide x 69-1/2" tall x
19-1/4" deep
Lower cabinet area features two shallow silverware and linen storage
drawers (20-1/2" wide x 15" deep); one shallow platter storage drawer
(42-3/4" wide x 15" deep); and a deep, tall base-cabinet w/ a shelf
behind two doors. The base-cabinet area is 46-1/2" wide x 15-1/2"
deep x 18" tall, with a 12" deep shelf (9-3/4" clearance below shelf,
7-3/4"
clearance above).
Upper hutch area features two 46-1/2" wide x 10" deep shelves and a
46-1/2" wide x 18" deep counter area. All shelves and the counter
area have plate-ledge grooves along the back edge to allow
plates/platters to be displayed upright, and the inside of the
hutch-top has cup-hooks installed along the entire width. These can be
removed.
Clearance between shelves: Counter to lower shelf = 11-1/2"; lower
shelf to top shelf = 9"; top shelf to inside of hutch-top = 12"
(though use of cup-hooks reduces usable space).
