1950’s 3-Legged Chair:

A remarkable, very unusual 3-legged chair dating from the early 1950’s. I believe it’s origins to be European, looks like it could be a design by Mathieu Mategot. This is the only chair like this I’ve seen…. it has even stumped a number of mid-century design experts that I know. The construction is an enameled steel frame with painted wooden seat. This would make a perfect desk chair but is also great as a decorative accent piece.

Condition: Good vintage condition with surface wear and imperfections to the paint consistent with age.
