This vintage mid century modern chair #72, by Knoll International, has been described as fluid & sculptural. It won the MOMA award for industrial design in 1969. The armless chair measures 22 1/2"W x 20 1/2"D x 31 1/2"H, with a seat height of 18 3/4."

It was recently reupholstered in a Knoll-like teal blue fabric which compliments its bright chrome metal legs. Fabric, chrome & overall structure are in excellent condition.

This chair was reportedly presented at the New York Worlds Fair as the most comfortable chair in the world when it was originally designed by Eero Saarinen in 1948.
