I really love this desk.
Jens Quistgaard Lovig designed many desks for Dansk, but his partners desk has become one of the most well-loved icons of danish design.
I don’t know why the AT listing won’t reflect any price other than $4 in the header for this post, but the price for this piece is $4,500.
This desk is normally sold on 1st dibs and in mid century furniture boutiques for close to $8,000. If you’re lucky enough to find it for a lower price, the quality is often severely diminished with missing pieces of wood and without the original pull-out drawers that sit in the fold-down hutch (pictured).
The desk for sale is offered in mint condition at half the usual price for this piece because I need to make room for additional estate items I have acquired, and I can no longer wait to stage and sell it properly. This is really a rare chance to get your hands on this beautiful desk. My problem is your luck!
