If you’re in the market for a beautiful antique dressing screen, this one is the real deal! I looked around for a long time before I came across this amazing, hand painted screen from the 1930’s. It’s very hard to find these pieces in their original condition (most of the time the screen has been damaged or painted over), but this one is in near perfect condition.
This piece is in the “arts and crafts” style, which was a style popular from the turn of the century to the late 30’s. It is very solid and has a stunning, streamlined hardwood frame and interesting original hardware that allows the screen to fold two ways.
It would make a lovely addition to any house, especially in a bedroom or guest room.
