Eye Catching Mid Century Cocktail Shaker / Lamp

Old doesn’t necessarily always equate to cool… My passion however is in finding those cool old things and making them cooler… in essence… elevating them to their next level of existence and coolness. You’re looking at some very chic mid century cocktail and coffee urns turned into lamps. In their day they were the epitome of coolness. For the shakers, there was a time when they were the likely focal point of many a swanky 60’s cocktail party. To me it just seemed to be beautiful with its simple chromed lines to be tucked away in a closet til the next cocktail party or to be turned over to a love love one day as a family heirloom. Notice the glass base which was at one time an ashtray. Reminiscent of the days of Sinatra & Bossa Nova music, cocktail hours, bee hived and Brylcreemed hair do’s. I can hear the crush ice shaking now… Hope you like it too…
