Vintage Norman Bel Geddes Streamline One Piece School Desk With Swivel Chair 1940s

I have had this desk for over 15 years. I was told that it was a Norman Bel Geddes when I bought it. There is no marking other than a PAT 237 4119 on the underside. It was painted yellow before I bought it. You can see the original beige school house color inside the desktop.

It’s a steel frame school desk and it’s very distressed, full of age and use. The chair swivels and the top opens. The desktop has storage with a latch that comes down to prop it open for a better angle. The desktop is wood with two pencil grooves. Both my boys used it for years.
