Mid-century French schoolroom chart. Anatomical illustration of: The Eye. Chalkboard paper mounted on linen on roller. Edited by the well-known anatomist Dr. Auzoux with illustrations by P. Sougy. This chart is one of an anatomical series of educational charts published in Paris from the late 40s to the 70s. This series of science lessons was part of the “Lesson-of-the-day” throughout French classrooms. Visually graphic, strikingly educational, contemporary in its vibrant colors and abstract forms.
