My mother bought this at a flea market in Paris in the early 60’s. Kitchenware ~ We don’t know what it’s made of or what it’s original use was but it’s beautiful. It has such a lovely patina. There is what’s left of hinges on both sides with some wire left on one side.

Including the hinge it’s about 5 3/4" in diameter and a little over 2 1/4" inches high

It looks to be vintage tin, zinc or aluminum. A gelatin, pudding or perhaps a cake mold.

So many uses for this charming piece. Desktop, bathroom or kitchen storage.
