I love this bed but won’t be able to transport it to my new home. It’s about 1 year old with no damage, dings or chips in the wood. This bed works in two ways! It can support a mattress alone for a platform style of bed like the photo, or you can add a box spring for a classic, higher bed height. This bed is a very dark brown smooth finish- not black.
