This is an original Andre Arbus licensed piece, produced exclusively for William Switzer Ltd.The settee’s narrow dimension make it great for an apartment or small library. button tufted bench, wood reeding detail on base and arm rests, and handsome tapered solid wood feet with bronze sabots add luxury and refinefment.
The upholstery is a very thick hard wearing Camel/ Mohair wool fabric which wears amazingly well. I usually brush the sofa with a handbrush to remove dirt, dust which is great. A good vacuuming does the job too.
The sofa has had a lot of use so a deep cleaning of upholstery is recommended. Also needs some minor repairs in the welting on armrests and touch up on one of the wood feet finish.
