This is a basic computer desk, made for a desktop computer. It has a nice contemporary look, but is not too over-designed, so it’s versatile enough to fit a number of people’s tastes. It’s not too big, but definitely holds everything you need. That is one reason I love this desk, it has exactly what a person needs without all the extra stuff and cubbies and over-designed fluff you find on other desks similar to it.
It has the main surface and two upper tiers, I put books and a lamp and pictures on mine, but printers, scanners, etc. would also fit up there if wanted. It has a drawer and a keyboard tray that pull out on sliders. It also has a wire rack on the back to keep the wires off the floor. It’s on lockable casters so it’s easy to move around. The computer shelf is elevated above the ground and is open on all sides. All of the metal is steel, so its great to keep your little pin-board notes on it with a magnet. I did put two screws in the back bottom to hold the serge protector for my computer, so those will be there too.
It has a compact maple wood design and silver metal trimmings, made of 1/2" MDF boards.
The dimensions layout as follows:
Top tier, 25.5″ × 13.5″, slightly rounded in front, stands 51" off the ground. Has a silver bar across the back that prevents things from falling back.
Middle tier, 15.5″ × 15″, has a corner cut out, stands 42.5" above the ground.
Main surface, 39.5″ × 23.5″, stands 30" above ground.
Computer stand level, 11″ × 17″, stands 2" above ground, open on all sides for computer circulation.
Drawer size, +/- 24.5″ × 12″ × 2″ deep with center divider. slides out on rollers
Keyboard tray +/- 24.5″ × 12″, slides out on rollers, independent of drawer.
I love, love this desk. I can’t overstate enough that I think it’s a great desk, especially for someone with not a ton of space available. I wouldn’t otherwise be getting rid of it, but I need to make more space in my room.
PS, sorry about the messy pictures.
