A beautiful midcentury modern swivel tubchair. I believe this chair Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin, but am not 100% certain. The tags say it is made by Woodvalley Furniture Corp, but it was very common for other companies to recover his chairs back in that period.
The chair is covered in a grey fabric with small dots and has some tufted buttons and light pleats. This small dot pattern is very in style now (see JCrew website, decor sites), but I think timeless. But maybe because I’m a polka dot person.
If you look on ebay these chairs go for thousands, but I am pricing to give somebody a nice, solid piece of furniture for a reasonable price.
Chair upholstery shows some light wear as shown in photos, but the fabric is soft and cushy and still has a lot of life left. It swivels 360 degrees.
Approximate measures 29" width, 29" seat depth, 16" top of seat height (front), 26" seat height (back).
