These two natural wood stools are a classic design by Alvar Aalto. The frame has solid birch core with birch laminate and low, molded birch plywood backrests. Fabricated in Finland by Artek (see stamp underneath). Minor chip in the seat back of one chair. We purchased these stools three years ago and are moving where we don’t need them anymore. New chairs from Artek sell for $485 each.
