This is an original painting on canvas by Angel Ortiz. Very good condition and is 20" X 16" This was found at a local estate here in New York. Here is a little info about the artist. Angel Ortiz (b. 1967) Angel Ortiz was born in New York. Ortiz is also known as LAII, LA2 or LA Rock. These names stand for “Little Angel” and are often seen as his tags. At thirteen, he began his career when he met Keith Haring in 1980. For a number of projects Ortiz collaborated with Haring from 1981 to 1984. He continued to make his own artwork after his work with Haring ended. However, Ortiz is often overshadowed by Haring’s fame. He has been fighting to make his past and current work more well-known. In 2008 he famously tagging his name in a restored Haring outdoor mural without permission. Ortiz still living in New York and continues to create graffiti art.
