A set of 7 midcentury modern plywood Eames chairs that the owner bought from an antique store. The chairs supposedly were made in the late 1950s or early 1960s. These chairs are a cross between Herman Miller Eames and Thonet. They are very solid and heavy chairs. There are six side chairs and one arm chair.
Chairs in good to very good vintage condition. There is some aging to the wood an a few scratches, etc, but the chairs are solid and sturdy. One of the chairs has a light squeak to it, but it could probably be fixed and does not affect the structure.
Would ideally like to sell these as a set, but would consider selling pairs for $150 for two. If you look on ebay, retail, etc., these chairs go for several hundred to a thousand dollars each.
Approximate measures: 18" seat height, 18" seat depth, 33" top of chair.
Cash only, please. Thanks for looking.
