I’ve had this dresser for over 20 years and decided it’s time to move on and get a new one. The dresser is virtually indestructible — it’s as functional as the day we bought it. It’s solid maple with a nice light wood grain. Because it has no legs and sits directly on the floor it has six very roomy drawers. The drawers are on metal tracks so they move very smoothly in and out (no sticking at all in humid weather and I’ve never had to use any grease or WD-40) and can also be easily removed for transportation. Given how long I’ve had it it does have some damage to the top — see the detailed pictures — and could therefore use a refinish, but the drawers are pretty much in perfect condition.
