A gorgeous Danish Teak bookcase with a bottom cabinet from the 1970s. This piece came from the old Scan store and was lovingly used by one family. The piece features ample storage and is solid and heavy. It is made of teak wood and teak veneer and designed by FM Mobler. From my research Kai Kristiansen designed shelving units for this company, but I am not sure if this piece was designed by him. I gave the piece a fresh coat of tung oil mixed with citrus and it enhanced it’s beautiful deep caramel color.
The piece is in very good vintage condition.
This piece is in very good condition. The owner glued some missing veneer on one of the cabinets but is only noticible when you look close. Other than that, minimal age appropriate wear.
When I looked online, these pieces retail for $900 to $1500 each so am pricing to sell (please ask and I will show you).
I also have a matching bookcase for $250, but will sell as a pair for $450.
Approximate dimensions: 35"w, 17"depth, 71" height.
Cash only, please. Thanks for looking.
