Antique craftsman-made wooden little girl’s doll house circa 1930s/1940s with hinged dormers, detailed moldings, and some of the original original furniture, a yesteryear toy I found in the attic of a fancy vintage Westchester estate. The living room has a staircase to the upper floor, and the roof lifts for access to the upstairs bedrooms. It’s a great summer project, and only needs some cosmetic work. The wallpapers are vintage and they are coming down in places (they could be removed and replaced easily with art shop papers) and it could use some painting and detailing on the staircase and windows, but with some weekend handyman activity this dollhouse can be major. Furniture shown, found with the house, is included. Sold in as-is condition. I hope the right Dad finds this and surprises his little girl with it—after some TLC.
I am in Williamsburg and can deliver in NYC for 10 bucks. It can be picked up near Ainslie and Leonard.
