This is a classic art deco Lane cedar blanket chest. I stripped and refinished it recently. It’s still got the charm of it’s age at the bottom and in the corners, where I did not completely sand away the old finish.The wood veneer is slight damaged in one corner, but it is not obvious. There is some wonderful inlay work on the front. I also sanded the inside to re-activate the cedar, so it has that wonderful smell.
