Herman Miller orange fiberglass Eames Chairs – 6 in good condition.

Chairs match, but bases are of two types – original Case Study H bases and black low rod bases from Modernica – please see below:

The skinny:

Vintage, circa 1950s-1960s, Mid-Century Modern, Charles Eames for Herman Miller matched set of Six (6) molded fiberglass side shell chair seats, plus 5 assorted bases.

Shells are in good condition with a very few scratches and no cracks (see photos). All are authentic Herman Miller. All chairs have Herman Miller Insignia and Cypher on bottom. No significant chipping along the edges of any of the chairs.

The color of the chairs is strong with minimal fading on the one of the six. One chair has a faded, darker ring in the middle of the chair (see pictures), but this can easily be sanded or buffed out. I’d rather have you (the buyer!) decide how much sanding and penetrol (if any) they need. All chairs are original and very presentable / ready for use and display.

Rubber shock mounts are all intact and sound (see images of underside) as well as Signatures.
