“I love this big red painting. I bought it in Norfolk, Virginia directly from the artist, Jennifer Williams, for a few thousand dollars. Its’ foggy fields of red invoked a valley, or a tornado or frankly, a woman’s pubic area, seen from the front. I would get lost in it. I’ve had almost 20 years now, and hate to get rid of it. But my wife is tired of it, (I bought it before we met), and while the painting is not huge by suburban standards, it’s pretty large by New York City standards – 5’4” square – means it’s difficult to hang in our space efficient apartment. So I reluctantly put it on the market. The painting does have some light white paint marks on it from a move. I don’t know if they mare its beauty, or simply alter it, but the artist, who I have been in contact with, says she may be able to adjust these when she comes to New York. I hope someone gives this painting a good home, and their life is enriched by it as much as mine has been."
