Art.

What is art? We just don’t know. Art scientists or “art-ists” have been telling us for years that the number of things in the world that are art keeps growing and growing as we do more research.

This specimen is definitely art. This Printis Numberedus checks in at an impressive 24 × 36 inches (a very art-y size) and has art-like features such as having a matte, being in a frame, and general flatness and hang-on-a-wall-ability. Only 375 copies of the species exist, so this is a threatened animal.

But it has brilliant plumage in blue-greens and charcoal greys, in the pattern of “maybe a washbowl, pitcher and brush, with table, and window in the background” A pattern which enables it to hide from predators in mid-century living rooms and the veldt. Its age is approximated at between forty and seventy years; members of the genus Printis can live for upwards of a century if cared for properly.

It’s in the style of a Georges Braque painting, made in this form by another printmaker.

My current job is unpaid for now so selling stuff is what lets me buy food and stay in my apartment. No reasonable offer refused.
